Friday 4 October, 2-5pm: – conversation, performance and workshop – Inspired by a ground-breaking 2018 pilot project with Improbable, All Change’s company of older people and Performance Design students at Central St Martins are using improvisation to generate a dialogue, a relationship, and a room full of timely stories. Join them, artist Francesca Beard and Michael Spencer (Course Leader – MA Performance Design and Practice, CSM), for a joyous afternoon of impro activities, including: – a screening of short films of the project by Monica Alcazar-Duarte, a conversation about experiencing creativity with different generations; an impro performance; and a chance to take part in an impro workshop.

6.30pm: A Stroll down the Golden Mile –Explore the remarkable and rambunctious history of music hall in Islington! Hear from our band of merry miscreants, the ‘Naughty Nineties’, as they sing their way through songs from the borough. Join in with old favourites including ‘Champagne Charlie and ‘My Old Man Said Follow the Van…’ and get a taste of what music hall was all about!
