1–12 June 10am-6pm Tuesday-Sunday (closed Mondays) House of Illustration Discover the world of Shōjo Manga (girls’ comics in Japanese) in the UK’s first major exhibition of the genre, on tour in the UK. Japan’s shōjo manga culture dates back to the post-war years but only evolved into its broad-ranging and hugely-popular form of today as a result of the innovative work of a small group of artists in the 1970s. This exhibition explores the work of pioneering artists  Keiko Takemiya, Yukiko Kai, and Akiko Hatsu through elaborate Genga'(Dash) prints.
