Copy: The exhibition shows diverse sexual orientations within Islamic cultures, past, present and future. The exhibition asks how to promote tolerance, freedom and cultural coexistence within today’s increasingly diverse European society. Part of Free Word’s Unravelling Europe series, which puts artists at the heart of discussions about Europe, alongside thinkers and speakers from other disciplines. Unravelling Europe will ask how we can better comprehend the complexities at play in order to “re-stitch” the fabric essential to the flourishing of a truly democratic Europe.
