Monday 25 June 6pm: Life and Times of Joseph Grimaldi: Clerkenwell’s King of Clowns – Guided Walk –
In this one-hour walk, guide and local historian Jiff Bayliss will tell the story of the Joseph Grimaldi (1778-1837), the Clerkenwell King of Clowns. Hailed as the father of modern clowning, Grimaldi became a huge celebrity and spent much of his life both performing and living in Clerkenwell. The tour will include his local home and final resting place. Book Here
